Update –28/04/2022

As of the latest update by the Greek authorities, the total number of confirmed Covid-19 diagnosed cases in Greece 3,302,382. 43 new deaths were reported raising the total number to 29,022. The number of patients treated in intensive care units is currently 267. 11,487 new cases were announced yesterday in Greece. 4,375 of the new cases were found in the Attica region and 1,245 new cases in the Thessaloniki region.

Greek health authorities on Wednesday announced 11,487 new cases of Covid-19, a big jump from Tuesday’s 4,727.

The National Organization for Public Health (EODY) said 43 people died from the disease, bringing the total number of fatalities to 29,022.

Data also showed that 267 patients have been intubated and are being treated in Intensive Care Units.
